Nešto sam već pisala po twitteru o ovome, ali sad eto cijele priče:
Na ebayu sam upratila jedan dio (od sad na dalje predmet o kojem se radi zvat ću “dio”; za ovu priču savršeno je nebitno o čemu se točno radi – osim da se radi o nečemu što je kod nas gotovo nemoguće nabaviti, a na ebayu se pojavljuje jako rijetko) koji mi je trebao. Prodavač je bio iz Velike Britanije, 100% feedback, cijena dijela vrlo pristojna – 9,99 £ i dostava 5,50 £. Pobijedila sam na aukciji, osvojila dio, u roku od sat vremena platila paypalom ugovorenu cifru (tamo negdje u pravilima ebaya piše da je završetak aukcije zapravo binding contract za obje strane). Sutradan nakon plaćanja od prodavatelja dobijam sljedeći mail:
Hi, I went to post off the *dio today, but the Postage was more than i thought it would be. To post it will actually be £10. Could you send me another £4.50 to cover the rest of the postage, then I can send off to you asap. Many thanks
Odgovaram da smo mi završetkom aukcije dogovorili cijenu dostave i da mu ne želim poslati dodatne novce, na što on odgovara:
Hi, Yes there is a contract in place on the bid you place for the item and the final selling proce but not the P+P!!!!! With sending stuff overseas, do you honestly think I am going to know the postage costs for every country in the world??? I really haven’t got the time to stand in a post office and get them to let me know the postage for every one, and I’m sure they wouldn’t be overly pleased eitehr!!!! It’s an approximation, how am I supposed to know exactly what the price of the posatage is going to be to Croatia, having never sent anything there in my life time??? Do you know how much it would cost to send a parcel to every country in the world???
I sell quite a few things overseas and occasionally the postage comes out higher than I originally anticipated and have had to put in a request on a number of occasions for an additonal payment to cover the rest of the postage costs, and I have never had anyone question this they have happyily paid the additional amount,…….until now!!!
If your not willing to cover the rest of the Postage costs then I’ll happily refund the money you have paid for the item and relist, but don’t see why I should pay to post the item to you, I’m not a charity!!!!

I tu ja, naravno, popižđujem. Da, buraz, ako si ozbiljan prodavač na ebayu, koji je samovoljno stavio da pošiljke šalje worldwide, onda zaista očekujem od tebe da znaš koliko iznosi poštarina za svaku zemlju na svijetu! Dodatno, ako ne znaš, pa se zezneš, nemaš pravo tražiti dodatne novce od kupca, koji ni na koji način nije kriv da si se ti zeznuo. To otprilike stoji u mom odgovoru njemu, na koji dolazi još jedan histeričan i bezobrazan odgovor od njega, gdje me optužuje da sam ja ta koja ima probleme with my attitude, gdje mi nadugo i naširoko opisuje kako je to skroz normalno i kako su njemu, kad god je to tražio, kupci poslali još novaca (ja nisam kriva za broj ovaca na svijetu, zbilja). Tu navodi i da će mi vratiti novce ako mu ne pošaljem tih dodatnih 4,5 funte, iako ja ne želim novce nego dio koji sam pošteno kupila i platila.
Ne budi lijena, pišem complaint ebayu (procedura pisanja takvih prigovora maksimalno je komplicirana, pretpostavljam zato što ebay želi da ih kupci ne gnjave sa sitnicama, nego da isprobaju sve moguće prije nego njima pišu). Lik mi je vratio novce prije nego sam dobila odgovor od ebaya, tako da od mog dijela ništa

Dakle, novce sam dobila natrag, prodavač je dobio neke sankcije ali mi ne smiju reći koje, dio nisam niti budem dobila… Nekako mi ostaje gorak okus, kajjaznam. Svjesna sam da ebay nemre njega natjerati da mi pošalje dio koji sam pošteno osvojila i platila, ali ovako se zaista omogućava čista ucjena. Prodaš nešto po sitnim novcima, tražiš dodatnu uplatu i ako ljudi ne pristanu, jednostavno vratiš novce, boli te briga, a ako pristanu – prošlo ti je i probat ćeš opet.
Nisam sretna.
PS: sad sam potražila, da, lik je lagao. za slanje u Hrvatsku pošiljke do 500 g (dio je svakako ispod 500 g!): airmail small packets i surface mail small packets su dvije opcije daleko jeftinije od 5,50 £, koliko sam ja platila za dostavu.
